Our summer program is both academic and fun. The kids take a short break from the Texas School Ready! Project during the summer months and we implement a program called Frog Street Press.
Frog Street Pre-K is a comprehensive, research-based program that integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines. The program is engaging for both teachers, and children, and is easy to implement. The cornerstones of the program are: an extensive integration of themes, disciplines, and domains; special attention to social-emotional development; many levels and support of differentiated instruction; and a joyful approach to learning.
Our summer program begins June 1st and ends August 31st.
Year-round we use the Frog Street Press app to teach the students the letters and sounds and even forming the letters in handwriting activities. This app is a super fun way to teach kids concepts and also for them to practice at school and at home using technology. The Frog Street Press app is available for parents to purchase on android and apple devices using the google play store and iTunes.
